Picked this up about 7 years ago from an auction of university surplus for rebuilding my back deck. This saw was just brought home and put to work. Works well but really do need to replace the chord and likely will also do the bearings after getting my Red Star 40A into operation. Saw arm says it's a 790 but the Machine base plate say 7790/3431...so maybe produced during model transition? Still has Dewalt name but motor plate lists HP as 3.5 Max so the B&D Tom foolery had begun. It's a nice saw.
