I purchased this new sometime in 89 which I can best verify by the parts list no 698310-986 copyright 1989 Porter-Cable Corporation which is written at the bottom. I was doing residential framing as a carpenter at the time in the high desert in Southern California. I have been sole owner and using it ever since then.
