I've had my eye out for one of these for a couple of years.
I didn't NEED an "Alien Head" planer but when it comes to these old American classic tools need has nothing to do with it!

Found this one on CL 80 miles away.

Machine is in excellent condition. The blades were even recently sharpened.
Everything seems to be there including the guides on the table and the anti-kickback device.

The only issue is the handle on the left side for tightening the table is not original.
It was made from a 6-point socket that has been cut down and a handle was welded to it. I actually like it better than the original.
Table elevation works smoothly.

I'm not sure I will leave it on the Delta stand but I will keep the 1 HP Craftsman motor!

Would like to know what year this was built.

Pictured as found.
