Machine is currently at the Pleasant Street Machinery Spa & Resort in DeKalb, Il getting new tires, crowned and balanced wheels, and new bearings. Owner will do a full tear down and repaint it when it arrives. I am told it is a B series machine and has the cast iron upper wheel cover. Purchased by Lance in 2022. Machine came to me by way of Al Caldecourt who bought it in 2019. James Condino had owned it prior to that. Talking with James, I am told it originally shipped to the WACO biplane factory in Troy, Ohio, in 1942. A mill in West Virginia had it after WACO, and dropped it at some point while moving it. After that, it was apparently sold for scrap and rebuilt by an Australian Machinist living in rural WV. James bought it from him in 2013 after seeing the Brian Boggs Y30 in Ashville, NC. I will update the entry after I refurbish it. The tags were missing, so I have fabricated new ones out of brass.
