04/22/2006. Nice little drill press became mine. Pretty solid and seems near complete - needs some clean up. 1/2 hp Franklin Elec motor. The belt guard strikes me as being just like the profile of Beldar, hence the name "Conehead". The badge in front of the shaft on the base, indicates it was manufactured in Warsaw, IN. Sorry for the un-focused badge shot. Substance on table is my secret formula which does not remove rust, dirt, or scale. It doesn't keep the wasps away, either.
