I have what I believe to be one of the first electric lawnmowers. I picked it up about 10 years ago from an elderly woman who was having an estate sale and asked me if I wanted to see something in her backyard shed. She said she remembered using it as a young girl. It was invented by Josephus Miller who applied for a patent on 10/19/28. The patent application was approved two years later on 10/11/31. It was manufactured by the Louisville Electric Manufacturing Company of Louisville Kentucky. The machine is in excellent running condition. I cleaned the machine, but just enough to get the grime off. I would like to find a permanent home for it, but I have no idea of it's value and how to go about finding an interested buyer.
