This moulder came from Gambles Bros. Lumber in Louisville , Ky. I purchased it from a millwork co. that never finished setting it up to run. It had a major casting broke that supported the top head. After disassembly, a buddy welded it, braced it and remachined the piece. It was sold to a HeartPine Flooring producer. Being more familiar with Vonnegut/ Diehl moulders, this was my first Mattison moulder experience. The engineering and machining is excellent in these machines. More user friendly for day in and out operation than the Vonnegut/ Diehl.
