I bought this lathe on from a marketplace listing, after having already missed its sale once. It was made by Myers and sold by A R Williams, and is marked SDG (Stormont Dundas and Glengarry counties in Ontario Canada) in three places, likely having come from a municipal shop in Finch Ontario. I spent a winter restoring it including repairing the crossfeed gear which had been destroyed, but most of the lathe was in great shape only needing aesthetic work. It luckily came with a set of change gears, countershaft (missing foreward and reverse clutches though), steady rest, 4 jaw chuck, face plate, and dog driver. It has 4 speeds with a back gear making 8, power length and cross feed driven by a keyed leadscrew, half nut, and Morse taper #3 tailstock.
