Came upon this and a State B-4 oscillating spindle sander on a local auction site. Great machines that cost less than the plastic machines at the big box stores. I especially like these two as they are single phase. I was surprised that this sander also has a three position switch that allows forward, reverse or neutral. The reverse option is common on 3-phase equipment, but not so much on single phase. It also has separate crank mechanisms for raise/lower and tilting of the table. The machine was plug and play with no unusual noises or vibrations. 115/220V, 3/4 HP and about 150-200 lbs.
