The lathe was gifted to me from a friend whose father was the initial purchaser from Heston & Anderson. The lathe was originally purchased without a base. The one pictured came out of an antique shop in Point Pleasant, NJ, and matched without modification. It's unclear whether the motor is original or not. On some of the original owner's other H & A machines he had replaced motors and some he hadn't. Also included, but not pictured, is an H & A No. 1 wrench.
