I purchased this bench grinder for $50.00 from a FB ad. The grinder was once owned by a machinist that worked for the WILLIAMS Tool Company located in nearby Riverside, a suburb of Buffalo, NY on Vulcan St.. A quick start up revealed that the bearings are dry as toast and will be replaced. It has obviously seen a lot of use and I'll take care of a new paint job. The original On/Off push button switches have been replaced by a single toggle type switch. It functions, doesn't look original. The pedestal stand is a vintage B & D pedestal stand. Whether it matches the age of the grinder is unknown and not important to me right now. I have removed the writing in white paint on top of the grinder. A small nod to the paint job restoration in the future. This is my second B & D grinder, I own an 8" also and these are good grinders, tough nuts to crack and stand up to long term shop use.

Black & Decker 6" Heavy Duty Bench Grinder. Unidentified "quench cup", adapted/reused from some other purpose. It isn't mounted up pretty, but it won't fall thru and holds a cup of water.
