I picked this saw up at a local auction. I took it partially apart to clean up the motor area and lubed it up. I also cleaned up the exteriors a but to remove years of grime/use. It works quite well for its intended purpose. I do like it over my newer, but made in USA Skilsaw. I have no other information on this saw at this time.
