Purchased from a dealer at a local New Hampshire flea market for $5/6. Roughly 83 cents. I'm serious.
The sanding disc needed to be cleaned of rust, and the tool rest shaft needed deburring where the set screw contacted it.
I was concerned about the bearings at first, but Brian Kachadurian was kind enough to inform me that the bearing are Oilite sintered bronze bearings that don't require an actual hole to conduct the oil from the cup to the inside of the bearing.
Being thin cast aluminum, the body is exceptionally lightweight, and needs mounting lest it tip over backward.
