I don't know anything more about this Detroit Lubricator "thing" than for what is in the photos. I'm not a gas/steam engine guy. I'm basing the age of the thing on the ad images found under the "IMAGES: drop down menu, of course it could have been made after 1909. Note that it is missing one sight vial. I do know that the fellow who is/was a gas/steam guy and farmer, and that still has a Cletrac crawler probably owned this lubricator part. But, due to heath issues, he does not remember what this is or what it came from, or any history on it. I fished it out of a recycling trash bucket. If you have any further info about this or these parts, let me know and I'll place that info here in the comments page and of course give you the credit.
