Purchased at the estate auction of my high school football coach and shop teacher for $600. Upon retirement he built his own shop and populated it with good machines from schools when they closed down their shop programs or bought newer equipment. This saw was one of those purchases. In his later years he stopped woodworking and I offered to buy the saw several times always to be told, “Nope. Ya gotta come to the sale after I die.” I have some attachment to the saw since I remember him often when I use it, and because he kept an eye out for me after my parents divorced when I was about 12.
