Timken bearing dates: Left side 10-12-44 Right side 7/22/44
The man from whom I acquired this machine said it had been the pride and joy of an old family friend of his who had passed away a few years ago. It had apparently been purchased new by this original owner and lived most of its life on Block Island, RI. It has been in storage long enough to be rusty but I haven't found evidence of the corrosion I would expect from sea air. It had been painted light green some time ago and all of that was flaking off when I got it.

Comments: TH 54 as it came to me, bolted onto a door. The tool holders, boring bar set, wrenches, etc. all seem to have been the original stuff supplied by Atlas.
