Comments:
Oliver 115D bandsaws are only two inches larger than the more common 36in Model 116D, but are substantially heavier and at 10hp are twice the power . This bandsaw has been carefully restored by Vintage American Wookworking Machinery inc. for a customer who needs to run a 2in blade. It has the power it needs for the wide blade. This is the largest of the 117,116, and 115 style saws. Please note the electric brake for stopping the lower wheel. It has lasted many years and will last and equal no of years with any luck. Praise be to the Oliver co for making such a nice saw.
