i am new to this forum as i am just an amateur when it comes to machining
i received this lathe for free and it was in ok condition, being retired and home all the time especially with the pandemic gave me plenty of time to really work on this lathe.
Someone tried to move it before me and actually tipped it over broke the main countershaft pulley
i disassembled the entire lathe. Meticulously cleaned, oiled everything changed the half nuts and had to rebuild the gearbox for the lead screw (which was expensive and a challenge)
added a qctp and bought a few accessories for it
i think it came out really nice and am totally happy with this lathe it runs perfec
also got a milling attachment and bought the coolet set with drawer bar new
added a steel drawer i found along my travels
i also have a bunch of photos through the whole process
