This saw is actually a combination of two table saws. I found the first locally for $60 bucks and the gentleman was just cleaning out his garage. It was his grandfather's saw and it had a ton of history making things for the family. It was missing some stuff and the table had a nice bow to it. I picked it up and sought out another saw to help me complete it and for a straight top. I found another one 900 miles away but I just happen to be going that way! Not much history was known but it worked great for what I needed.
Once I got it home, I set out on a nut and bolt restoration. I upgraded the saw with grizzly cast iron handles, machined to fit. This beastly saw has cast iron trunnions and the arbor was machined to the saw. I upgraded the motor to a 3hp and put a period correct motor starter, In addition to a delta fence and cast iron wings.
The pics of it restored are years and many projects later. It has done everything I ask of it and is the heart of my little shop.
