Comments:
I purchased this machine from a gentleman on the "Offer Up" Website on April 7, 2022. It hadn't been used in many years, and showed it.It was missing the plastic front pulley covers, which I had to improvise, Thanks to a Rubbermaid trash can, but you have to do with what you got. The drill press has a small 1/4 in chuck, and I thought about going to a bigger chuck, but still haven't decided yet.I think most Drill Chuck had 1/2-20 internal threads, but this 1/4 in chuck seems to screwed on to a 1/2-24 shaft if I measured right. Not sure what the Original color was other than a Blue. I used Rust-Oleum Navy Blue, and it's a bit bright, but maybe that was how it was back then. It's a small drill but rather heavy at the same time. Any Comments or Corrections are Welcome, as I'm definitely not an Expert. I'm not positive, but think back in the early 1940's these sold for around $18 dollars.Completed this Project on April 13, 2022.
