Acquired this Dayton 15 inch bench type, Drill Press from the Offer/up Website. It was missing the Quill handle assembly, so I had to improvise one, and works fine. The top "high speed" pulley on the Motor was damaged, but I left the pulley on, as I myself has never used the belt in that position anyway. I'm having a hard time determining what Company actually made these Dayton Drill Presses. I believe the W.W. Grainger Co. Sold these machines, but not sure this is accurate, so any Falsehoods here, I'm sure someone will let me know. I also added a 1/4 in Plexiglass shield on top of the frame to cover the Pulley system for Safety. The Paint I used was probably not the Original Dayton color, but I've always liked it, so I used it. It was: RUST-OLEUM Gloss Enamel #7784830 CHARCOAL GRAY. So Please, if anyone has better information on this Machine, let me know and I'll EDIT my description to make it Right. Check out the Before and After pictures, and leave Comments to make sure I got everything Correct.
