I purchased the planer in the spring of 2002 at a cabinet shop equipment reduction auction in Southern Illinois. I paid $50 for it. The seller said the planer had been owned by a school system before he got it. I did a complete tear down, cleaned and painted everything. Replaced the bearings while I was at it. The electricals still need to be reinstalled and the planer needs to be tuned. I am still working on restoring the tags.
