I purchased the jointer in the spring of 2002 at a cabinet shop equipment reduction auction in Southern Illinois. I paid $50 for it. The seller said the jointer had been owned by a school system before he got it. I did a complete tear down, cleaned and painted everything. Replaced the bearings while I was at it. The tables had been used as an anvil at some point in its life and I found a place to regrind the tables for me. The grinding of the tables was $30. A few small pieces and the electricals had to be replaced. I am still working on restoring the tags. I am very pleased with its performance.
