i bought it a few months ago and cleaned it all up and painted it except the tables and wheels, then i lost steam. it has sat for about a month untouched. the babbits are pretty tight (not perfect). the guides are in pretty good shape. for some reason, wich i can't fathom, the table tilt ways are uneven by a 1/4"!!! and the geared table tilt has a few cracked teeth. other than that it is in good shape. by reaserching literature on this site i have come to the conclusion that the saw is probaly pre 1919 but i don't know an exact year. wish i did. the only number on it is 5224 don't know if that is a model number or a serial. also came with a four speed "drive all" transmission. i was told by the previous owner that the saw was origanaly run off a 1100rpm motor and it needs the tranny to slow down a 1725rpm motor. if anyone has info or would like to buy the saw please email by clicking my name above. or call me at (508)542-1386. thanks.
