I purchased this table saw at a South-Central Illinois estate auction for $90. I have liked the looks of this style of saw since I watched a 14" version sell at auction a year ago. It went for more that I could afford at the time so this is my small affordable one.
There were a couple of broken castings when I got it and I had them repaired at a local welding and machine shop. I disassembled the saw down to its smallest parts and cleaned, stripped, wire brushed, and sandblasted them depending on what was needed for each. The bearings were all replaced and the motor was checked out at my favorite electric motor repair shop. The saw performs nicely and is a joy to use. The only shortcoming I have found with the saw is the inability to use a zero clearance table insert with the blade.
