This saw was abandoned at a construction site and rescued by someone who brought it to the Winnipeg "Habitat for Humanity" Re-store, where I purchased it for $35. It has a ridiculously complicated carriage and trunnion system and is an unreasonably heavy unit. The groove for the miter gauge is 3/4" by only 5/16" deep which is truly maddening as I haven't found the right one to fit, so I made one. In its day, however, it was probably quite an upscale saw for home use or serious amateur. I cannot find a mfr tag anywhere on the machine.
Update: I no longer own this saw; it was sold for parts (Summer '08)
