Craftsman cast iron pedestal stand for Craftsman 8 inch table saw. Found in an old shed covered in rust with mud wasps living in the column. Cleaned with electrolysis. Base and top painted with Rustoleum Smoke Gray, column with Rustoleum Dark Steel. Steel plates, one for the base and one for the top were fabricated to act as baseplates and prevent the base and top from moving along the column. Eliminating the need to over tighten the single set screws and the possibility of cracking the cast iron collers.
