Comments:

This machine cut a chamfered edge on the round barrel heads to fit into the groove at the end of the barrel. This was used at an PA Oil Region cooperage, possibly one in Titusville, PA, since there were several. It was probably donated to Drake Well Museum in the early 1960s and was restored to working order in 2007.
