Originally sold to Ford Motor Company, Highland Park Plant in 1942. I purchased the lathe in early 2021. Was sitting in a garage and not in very good condition. Fortunately this although not well cared for, was not heavily used. I did a complete and through restoration. Ways were not touched because they show little wear. Less than 4thou over the entire bed length. I replaced the cobbled 110vac motor with an original style 3phase and added a VFD.
