I found this drill press locally. It was a one owner and has been very well cared for. There is only one apprentice mark on the table and mechanically it is in tip-top shape. It came with a 1/3hp 4 pole motor on a homemade mounting bracket and wooden cam tensioning apparatus (the original bracket is present and has not been modified). I plan to disassemble and inspect it, do some routine maintenance, rewire it, remove the surface rust from the base and table, source an original motor and mount it properly, and put it back into service. I was searching for a drill press to fully restore, but this one is in too good of condition to warrant stripping/painting/polishing for the time being. I'll continue my search and just enjoy using this one.
