I picked this up a little while ago and am just now finishing it. I wanted to make the machine a little safer by putting a magnetic starter on it, but I didn't want to ruin the aesthetic of the CI base with a big starter box. I fabricated a sheet steel electrical box to fit inside the CI base above the motor, and a switch plate to cover the over-sized switch plate hole in the CI base. I also changed the cutter head to a helical.
