Purchased in 1993 from a neighbor who made kitchen cabinets, the worm gear in the drive was stripped but was able to purchase new worm and gear, used machine for 25 years before the drive gear again worn out (lack of oil). Has a nice 5ph single phase motor on it (Baldor) and always was very accurate and produced a nice finish, its compact size compared to other 18" planers is nice. Original Paint.
