This motor came with a Silver 32" band saw that I believe was built in about 1910. I believe the motor to be original to the saw. Both came out of an old lumber yard in Baltimore, MD that had been around since about the time of the motor's manufacture.
The motor is huge for a 2 HP. It's 3 phase, 220 or 440 volts, 1730 rpm. 225 frame. It uses ball bearings, which I understand to be about 15 years early for common practice.
