These are the after pictures of http://www.owwm.com/PhotoIndex/detail.asp?id=4116. cost of the machine - $25(not counting the gas and food to pick it up), proper fence -$130, mobile base $100, new motor - $80, new knives- $50 for a new motor, plus misc parts, I probably have a bit over $400 into it, but seeing it cut wood is priceless. The original head was replaced with a 15" head replacing the babbit bearing and what I assume was a square head with a round head and pillow blocks. So you can cut a 15" wide board on it. I made the base out of steel tubing 3"X6" and added 5" wheels. This makes it pretty tall. If I were to redo it I would try to get that half as high since I'm not that tall. This is only my second restoration and I'm learnng a lot. It took an owwm community of help to get me through this. thanks to all who answered my silly questions.
