I learned the value of looking for machines close to home when I bought this jointer. This was my first machine purchased through *b*y. The jointer was located in Canada, but I bid anyway. It was after I won that I spoke with a freind of mine that worked for a freight forwarder. By the time i paid the freight and customs fees, I had doubled the cost of my purchase. This is a Canadian built jointer and it is all original except for the mag switch and the dust collector hook-up.
