Found on Craigslist which was purchased from a local auction. Stenciling shows NAAD, which when looked up, stands for Navajo Army Depot. The Navajo Army Depot was originally established as Navajo Ordnance Depot in 1942 and later renamed to the Navajo Army Depot in 1965 which leads me to believe that this spent its life from at the earliest in 1965 until present day in AZ. Looking into some of the available publications on this site, the X13 shown was first noted in the 1930 General Line Catalog. The pictured jointer in the catalog lacked a motor shield while this one has a heavy duty one in place, which leads me to believe that it is mid to late 30s at the earliest. On further investigation, I feel as though this particular model was most likely from the late 40s to maybe 1950 prior to the changing of their name to American Woodworking Machinery Co.
