My grandfather owned this and my dad inherited it. He was quite a craftsman and used it some. Dad passed away in 2019 and it became mine to care for. It needed a little TLC like, a bath and a paint job, like new tires, new blade guides and bearings. It came with a 1 HP motor which is way more than the 1/3 HP called for. I'd be interested in a 1/3 - 1/2 HP motor. Since the restoration, I have used it for rebuilding our Adirondack chairs.
Any info on manufacture date would be helpful. My best guess, so far is in the late '40s.
