I do NOT own this grinder--posting for archive purposes (seen on eBay September 2021).
Here is an example of the "A-1" grinder with Companion decal.
Cast iron body with wide porous bronze bearings and machined steel oil plugs.
Shaft is 3/4" diameter with 5/8-11 threaded ends.
Flanges are 2" diameter machined steel.
Pulley is steel, machined for a flat or V-belt.
Designed to hold wheels up to 6" diameter and 1" face.
