I bought this in late 2019 in Los Angeles. I have no history on it. It ain't pretty, but it works great!
It is powered by a 2HP 3 phase motor. I am using a VFD to power it from single phase.
As noted elsewhere, The center section is cast iron while the tables are 3/4" plate steel.
Based on the grinding marks on the tables, the machine was Blanchard ground with the tables locked in place to the center section.
This results in excellent parallelism between the input and outfeed tables.
Since the tables are not ribbed on the bottoms as a cast table would be, they are thick throughout and very heavy.
The cutter head has balancing marks on it and runs quite smoothly. Base is welded sheet steel. It is thicker than most sheet steel bases and very stable.
