I was looking for an upgrade to my little 9" benchtop band saw and came across this on Facebook marketplace. It looked like a great candidate for a restoration as all the original parts were there including the frame stand and Dunlap motor. My father and I took a trip out to see it a few hours later it was sitting in my shop ready for me to get started. I was informed by the seller that they were only the second owner of the saw, making me the third in 70 years! They were really happy that the saw was going to someone who would give it the attention it needed and keep it alive for many years to come, as I know a lot of us on this site can appreciate. I found the manual on this site as I knew I would and got started right away. The following pics are of the journey.
