just picked this up today form the last moments of an estate sale....3 great machines were there as well....?????? Cleanest smoothest motor i have found yet. A 1890-1900 Wagner Electric 1/2 HP motor, type SA wired for 110 current. 60 cycle, 1750 rpm. This draws some power...moments into it running....my heavy duty extension chord is warm.... Centrifical starting motor....exposed starter to see it work....Best part is seeing it start and run.... you can easily see through the motor noting the windings, stater and commutater spacing. A rare motor in this size and condition is unreal....looking inside the oil bath..... all the parts glisten just as when they were manufactured....
[ADMIN NOTE JAJ 2021-08-23: Updated Date Manufactured based on patent dates and the existence of a 1910 patent date that appeared on a similar motor.]
