MAKE: Powermatic
MODEL: 60 8" Jointer
MOTOR: 1.5HP 1PH
YEAR: 1978
HISTORY: This jointer came out of Springs Mills in Lancaster, SC. Springs was a very large cotton mill operation for about a century in the area, and one of the largest producers of textiles in the region. Previous owner purchased it from Springs when they closed operations in the US. I purchased from him. Had a 1.5 HP 1725 RPM replacement motor, which put the cutterhead at way too slow a speed. Upsized the motor pulley to get cutterhead to proper RPM.
