Comments:
I obtained the lathe in a trade for a set of mechanics tool chests. The ways full length are 42 inches with everything stripped off. I have seen other Atlas lathes with the "way wipers" on them however this one lacks the way wipers completely; not even a hole for the screw on where the wiper would go. What year did Atlas start putting the wipers on? After the 1930's?

The shaft for the headstock and the chuck. The three dull spots are where I had it spray welded and turned back down to specs.
