Updated pictures after cleaning and installing leather belt. Now running and in use.

Acquired in Massachusetts from CL. PO had no history of the SS. PO said he just sold a Barnes # 3 lathe with nice art work and the tractor seat for $800., the guy who bought it was thrilled ... I can only imagine.
The SS is in nice shape, some un-original hardware, not the major components though. Just needs a belt and a cleaning to be in working order. Red pinstripe on legs looks good very small amount of gold paint left on the letters "StAR"
Only missing the chuck for the boring component.
I was amazed that it was smaller then my Barnes # 6 SS....see pics

Now if I can find or replace the chuck and I will remake the spring on the rear upper arm.
