I recently purchased this grinder from a non profit training center for $50. It was scuzzy and dirty, had a broken wheel guard, no wheels on it and the nut and wheel clamps on one side were missing.
It was also mounted on a crude pedestal.
I cleaned it up, made all the needed repairs and then mounted it on the rear axle housing from a tractor.
It is all brush painted with tractor and implement enamel. The colors are 1960s Ford Tractor Blue and light gray. I will fabricate better tool rests for it and incorporate a water/quenching pot for it but keep the original tool rests (one of which is in the photo) for posterity.
It will now go back into service in my home shop.
