I purchased from a gentleman who bought it from a school. I'm guessing that the vintage is 1970's, certainly after Morgan Vise Co. was taken over or succeeded in 1973 by Milwaukee Tool & Equipment Co. The vise has some saw marks on the jaws that would indicate that it did in fact come from a school. Other than that, the vise is in fantastic shape with very little play in the threaded rod. I made the new oak handle.
