Originally an Air Force machine. It has Air Force serial and property tags from USAF/Allison. I got it from a machinist shop that was being closed in rural WI. The original 48" handle was replaced with a shorter one to accommodate a low ceiling in its previous home; the original counterweight was replaced with a shop made one. I plan to clean this one up and put it to work - it'll be handy for larger band saw wheels. This press shares a lot of the same upper parts as the No. 4, with the exception of the pinion shaft. If you've seen another 14, I'd like to hear about it. Seems I can only find other examples of the 15, it's larger sibling.
