Just purchased this beauty from a machinist in Johnson City NY, who said it came from an IBM factory. Don't know much else . . . . there is at least three layers of paint on the unit! The serial number was covered with all the paint - about 25 very gentle "shocking" taps from a screwdriver (pounded by a wrench) was enough to free the paper faced serial number tag from the indignities of the paint!! What a find . . . .
