Purchased this saw from a young fellow in the countryside for $25 who said he acquired it from his grandfather. The Wagner Leland motor might have been made in Toronto in November of 1966. Found another extension wing in a recycling store. There was no rip fence so I made a DIY rip fence and finished it with Formica plastic laminate. I added the extra extension wing to the right side to increase rip capacity from 12 to 18 inches. The bevel cutting was a little troublesome and the saw blasted much sawdust everywhere so I decided to dedicate the machine for straight cuts or dados and built an enclosure to contain the flying sawdust. Built a dust collection bin within the original Rockwell table saw stand. Made custom throat insert plates. The dust collection box and drawer are tapered slightly since the Rockwell stand is wider at the base than at the top so that was an interesting build. The result is that this dust collection system works like a charm with very little residual dust outside the box. I applied a protective coating to the machine with a brush and roller using a Pitt-Tech Industrial Enamel self sealing direct-to-metal paint. Now using this in the storage shed and turns out that I’m going to it quite often. Rips 2” material but have to go slowly and not use too much force.

Saw stand with locators , easy to position saw, can be fastened to the stand but I use it without fastening.
