My name is Larry Robichaud, I live in a small village ,Harvey Station in New Brunswick Canada. I have a Sprunger J6,serial # 36683 that was given to me5 years ago by a friend in south California. It had been his fathers, and had not been used for many years, fortunately it had been inside all that time and was in working shape. I used it a few times when I got it back here and just this winter decided to take it apart and do a restoration, though it needed little. My machine shop guy said the bearings were near perfect, and the blades had never been ground, barely even honed. It had no motor and I have been running a 1/2 HP I had here but was wondering what is the proper motor.
